Richard Vickery
I have been a secondary teacher for 26 years and a Head of ICT at two large secondary schools in Cheshire for 20 years. Recently I have spent a year studying for an MSc in Computing at Staffordshire University and in September 2004 I started work as a Lecturer in Educational ICT at Liverpool John Moores University. I was a member of the Computer Education Group for many years. My areas of interest are computer programming, �A� Level Computing and mobile computing and my area of research at present is looking at ways of teaching object-oriented programming using Java to �16-19 year old students.
