CC4G - Computer Clubs for Girls

CC4G logo

Would you like a FREE fun, new way to get girls interested in IT?

By now you have probably heard about CC4G (Computer Clubs for Girls).  This award winning programme from e-skills UK gives girls aged 10-14 the opportunity to take part in a wide range of activities from designing their own celebrity posters or magazine covers, to planning a fundraising campaign or mixing music.

CC4G has proved to be very popular and is completely FREE to all DfES funded schools.  In fact we have over 2,400 schools registered to run clubs and over 44,000 girls currently registered.  No surprise really, considering it is funded by DfES, which means that Clubs are run at no cost to your school or to the girls.  CC4G also has the support of leading bodies including Becta, Naace and the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust.

It offers more than 61 hours of e-learning and 170 hours of off-line projects and challenges and is mapped to the ICT curriculum.

CC4G Clubs are generally run after school, and are the perfect addition to your study support and Extended Schools programme.  Our Clubs run in both Primary and Secondary schools, so CC4G is a great programme to support the girls during that difficult transition phase.

Some of the Clubs are run by ICT teachers, but many are not.

CC4G is easy to set up and run, and all the resources are provided, so you do not have to be an expert in ICT.

We also offer free CPD training opportunities for schools which run CC4G.
