Naace Newsletter

The Naace Newsletter is published on Friday each week (apart from holiday periods) and is sent by email to the membership. It is also published on the Naace website, and builds to form a searchable archive. The Newsletter is seen to be a vital communication link between Naace Members. Not only does it serve to report on the work of Members elected to serve the Association, and that of the Naace professional team, but also provides a means of sharing information from Members who wish to publicise an event, a professional opportunity, research undertaken, or requests for help.

There was a time when school management computers belonged in the office and computers for learning belonged in the classroom. A case of 'Never the twain shall meet!' Those days are gone and learners, teachers and managers all need access to these business-critical systems both in school and beyond the confines of the school buildings and the school day. Recent policy initiatives around learning platforms and real-time reporting have underlined the need for a holistic approach to the use of ICT to support the needs of learners, and the needs of their parents and teachers too.
